| An opportunity to work for a multinational Oil & Gas company as a Maintenance Labourer. Objective Responsible for the general housekeeping and maintenance of the machines, machine areas and general areas of the plant. Key Responsibilities * Carry out machine lubrications and coolants in accordance with maintenance schedules and manufacturer's instructions. * Move and stack materials and supplies * Replenish machines with cutting oil, maintaining strength and cleanliness as necessary. * General Housekeeping and maintenance of machining areas * Waste management (collection, recycling and storage) * Operating floor sweeper/scrubbing machine on a regular basis to ensure passageways are kept clean and free of oil/swarf. * Health and Safety duties including regular checks on eye wash stations, temperature checks etc) * Utilising mainsaver to carry out daily and weekly tasks. * Driving duties as requested for collections/deliveries * Assisting other maintenance personnel with tasks. * Ensuring all operations are carried out in accordance with quality specifications and adhering to health and safety regulations. * Special projects and ad-hoc duties as and when required Skill Requirements * Flexible approach * Communication skills * Skills in the use of equipment, tools and manual handling Education/Training * School leaving qualifications * Some experience in a maintenance department supporting production/manufacturing would be beneficial To apply for this position, candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK Matchtech Group Plc is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy. | ||
