| We have an exciting opportunity to work with a multinational Oil & Gas company as a Welder. Objective Responsible for the welding of materials and repairing tools for the company. Key Responsibilities * Perform visual and in-process inspections in accordance with API and ISO quality specifications * Diagnose, troubleshoot and solve welding problems * Contribute to the team by supporting and training others when required. * Prepare tools for welding jobs including brazing composite rod, nickel silver or silver soldier * Weld various products and materials * Contribute to the design of speciality tools * Build washover shoes and mills to specific sizes * Fabricate fishing tools * Ensure compliance with QA and HSE policies and procedures at all time * Participate in HSE initiatives * Ensure good housekeeping in the work area * Other Ad-hoc duties and special projects as required Skill Requirements * Must have Experience with MIG, STICK, FLUX CORE & OXYACETYLENE * Communication skills * Knowledge of different metals, their reactions and abilities * Knowledge of appropriate welding processes * Skills in reading and interpreting drawings * Analytical skills * Organisation skills * Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team environment * Skills in the use of SAP * Skills in the use of Microsoft Office packages * The ability to work under pressure * Ability to plan and prioritise workloads Experience/Training * HND qualified or equivalent * Welding Certification * Experience gained in a manufacturing environment * Experience gained of welding materials and tools in an oil industry environment Additional Information Basic working week would be 38 hours. Overtime available, as well as day/night shift work.
