| Quality Engineer Gloucestershire £27,000 - £30,000 + Pension + Bonus + 5 weeks holiday Opportunity to make a key impact in championing quality improvements in an all encompassing quality role This long standing international name in aircraft maintenance has been enjoying rapid growth over the last 18 months and is set to continue on the same trend due to major international contracts won. Employing several hundred staff at their Gloucestershire site and requiring a competent quality professional to take control of an all encompassing quality role including lean improvements, calibration SPC, SQA and implementing quality standards, this will be an opportunity to shine and gain experience of rolling out quality systems for an entire production facility. The Role: * The Implementation of Quality standards and systems throughout the site * The drive of continuous improvements within all departments of the facility * Assist in NPI related activities * Use of SPC software * SQA responsibility * Monitoring adherence to and driving initiative s to ensure quality metrics and KPI's are met The Person: * Minimum HNC qualification / apprenticeship * Strong experience within a quality capacity in a manufacturing / production environment * SQA experience * Previous use of SPC software * Experienced in driving forward continuous improvement initiatives * Experience within aerospace or automotive advantageous | ||
