| A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join one of the UK's leading Environmental Consultancy Companies as a Senior Consultant in Climate Change. My client specialises in providing consulting solutions for a wide variety of 'green' areas. The principal function of the position is to provide technical support in the growing business area of buildings energy and renewable energy, supporting the climate change and renewables team in all areas of work particularly buildings display energy certification, project design, M&E and implementation. Key responsibilities/skills: �Have a Degree in Engineering or Environmental discipline with a mechanical, electrical, buildings or energy management bias, MSc in specialist energy area is desirable however not essential. �Preferably be a Chartered Engineer/CIBSE be and ideally be a CIBSE-registered Low Carbon Consultant. �Have experience in M&E consulting gained in the built environment. �Knowledge of building energy demand/ modelling, M&E services, HVAC, lighting, Buildings controls engineering in one or more sectors and energy engineering is essential. �Expertise in implementation of renewable energy projects is highly desirable as well as commercial experience and development of business plans.
