| Working on behalf of an IT company on an Automotive company site, my client are seeking someone to support end-users on the use of Robcad, Delmia, PDM and other software applications for Virtual Vehicle Manufacturing. Position description: Providing end-user support and promoting the use of published methodologies in functional areas within Manufacturing Engineering including Trim and Final, Body Construction, and Paint Engineering in the use of the following software tools used: Process Designer Process Simulate Robcad Teamcenter PDM Integration for above applications Or experience in using equivalent Delmia toolsets, training will be provided in the above applications. Developing and documenting new best-practice methods and workflows in a logical and succinct manner Testing of new releases of software to ensure smooth deployment for Manufacturing Engineering Capable of good project management discipline in delivering business efficiencies that drive process improvement in terms of cost, quality or time compress Required skills: Required: The ideal candidate will demonstrate: A high-level of competency in Process Designer, Process Simulate and Robcad Broad experience in a CAD/PDM support role preferably operating in a PC environment An understanding of the typical data architecture used in a manufacturing database Experience working in the automotive industry in Manufacturing Strong written and verbal communication skills To apply for this position, candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK Matchtech Group Plc is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy. | ||
