| Main Purpose of Job - Procure Equipment, Materials and Services in support of the Northern Gas Plants maintenance activities to meet the needs of Client in the most cost efficient way. Key Responsibilities - Effective maintenance of Client rules and STOP programme. - Achieve safety standards as defined in personal performance contract. - Carry out work in accordance with Client's EP Europe Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality systems. - Promote and adhere to ethical behaviour as per Client's Conflict of Interest Policy. - Compliance with Client and legislative processes, codes of practice, and procedures. - Promote Health, Safety and Environmental compliance. - Proactively reduce the cost of procurement of equipment, goods and services. - Liaise with the Northern Gas Plants' SCE in relation to all procurement activities. - Source equipment, goods and services from authorised vendors only. - Responsible for the creation of Purchase Orders and Requisitions. - Focal point for all commercial and schedule clarifications /communications on all Purchase Orders - pre and post award. - Ensure compliance with all specifications, national and safety standards. - Liaise with internal customers and vendors. - Develop appropriate relationships with key suppliers. - Identify and implement process improvement to reduce total system costs. - Where possible, automate the procurement process and utilise stock. - Challenge all rush requisitions. - Ensure customer is advised of any Purchase Orders that do not meet the Required On Site date stated on the requisition. - Ensure all requirements have been correctly authorised by the appropriate financial authority and PO's are signed/released accordingly. - Completion of FPAL feed back reports on a regular basis. - Link between vendor, QA and engineering regarding deviations to specifications. - Fully utilise existing Client agreements to maximum benefit in fulfilling required work scopes, e.g. maintenance inspection services. - Assign Field Expediting where appropriate/as business needs dictate. - Responsible for verifying all costs associated with the Maintenance procurement activities and release of Service Entries below $5k Competencies - Appropriate Degree, HND/HNC or equivalent work experience. - Experience in the Oil and Gas Industry [others engineering based organisations will be considered]. - Team player. - Good communicator. - High level of computer literacy. - Trust worthy, honest and absolute integrity. - Conform to the agreed values and behaviours of Clientl. - Knowledge/Experience in the use of SAP Blueprint preferred. - Conversant with the Materials Business Process flow within SAP To apply for this position, candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK Matchtech Group Plc is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy. | ||
