| An exciting opportunity has arisen for the position of Area Sales Manager for a worldwide leader in the design, manufacture and sale of comprehensive systems and components used in oil and gas drilling and production. The ideal candidate will have either previous experience of working within the Drilling Rig equipment industry or a proven sales track record within the oilfield sector. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious sales engineer who has the desire to further their career within a well established leader in the industry. Responsibilities: -Promoting and selling the range of Rig Solutions products and services to nominated client accounts. -Establishing and maintaining professional Client relationships before, during and after contract award. -Generating and supervising the handling of technical and commercial enquires, tenders and contracts and issuing quotations. -Participating in the preparation of the annual business plan and development of business development strategy by identifying new sales and service opportunities along with any client specific equipment requirements. -Assisting with preparation and review of marketing material such as Company brochures, datasheets, documents and advertisements. -Proactively seeking competitive information on an ongoing basis and working as a leading member of the Sales team to plan and exercise sales strategy for the continual expansion of Rig Solutions products and services. -Providing regular Sales Reports and feedback of calls and accounts as may be required. Requirements: -The successful applicant's will have either previous experience of working within the Drilling Rig Equipment industry or a proven sales track record within the oilfield sector. -Previous offshore experience will also be advantageous. -HNC level qualification in a relevant discipline is preferred, it is not essential as applicants with relevant work experience will be considered. -As this position requires local and international travel, a full driving licence and a willingness and ability to travel international are essential. Salary:- 35-50k dependent on experience. Benefits:- Car/ Allowance, Bonus, Pension, Healthcare.
