| Graduate Software Engineers x 4 to £20k Cumbria, North West Ref: KJ10045 Established in 1969, with a turnover exceeding £25M, our client is the UK's leading provider of advanced automation and real-time business intelligence systems to the nuclear, power generation and utility sectors, immediately they are looking to increase their team based in Cumbria. You will be joining a friendly environment that will provide you with support and excellent technical and project experience, the role will involve the design, programming, testing, documentation and commissioning of software projects, particularly for control and automation projects but also for IT based projects. There are many opportunities in projects that use PLC and SCADA technologies with the possibilities of opportunities to work with technologies such as Oracle, Visual Studio, .Net, ASP, VB, Java and SharePoint. It is preferred that you have an understanding of PLC and SCADA packages, however full training will be provided to the right candidates who can display good fundamental IT/Computer skills coupled with the willingness to learn. It is ESSENTIAL that you are a recent graduate with a good degree classification (computing, IT or electrical/electronic engineering), however it is emphasised that my client is keen to consider degrees from all disciplines and provide the appropriate training. My client offers a basic salary of up to £20,000 (depending on skills/experience), expenses, company pension scheme, and relocation assistance.
