| An exciting opportunity has arisen for the position of Project Cost Coordinator for a well established Oil & Gas company who specialise in the production of pipeline products. The ideal candidate will have relevant experience of working within a Project Controls/ Commercial environment within a Technical capacity. This is an opportunity with real scope for career progression within an innovative provider to the Subsea and Onshore Oil & Gas Industries. Responsibilities: -Responsible for the monitoring and updating of control methodologies for project costs. -Responsible for scheduling and contract administration to ensure that the goals of the project are accomplished in line with the departments Key Performance Indicators. -Responsible for the daily monitoring/updating of the Operational Risk Management process, along with involvement in the planning analysis from bid phase through to execution. -Liase with Project Planners to develop and proactively evaluate baseline schedule. -Develop and proactively evaluate baseline budget. -Interpret and administer contracts under direction of Project Managers. -Assist with generation of Variation Orders/Scope Change under direction of Project Managers. -Provide interface support to customers and attend client meetings. -Provide procedural and system training to discipline teams. -Liaise with Business Acquisition/Supply Chain to ensure efficient and accurate feedback to assist in accurate costing. Requirements: -Relevant degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. -Experience with Primavera Planning Software beneficial. -Experience of working within Project Controls/Commercial Environment. -Commercial and Engineering background/experience preferred -Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. -Ability to effectively present information -Ability to respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
