| *********TECHNICAL ENGINEERING EXPERIENCE WITHIN THE WATER INDUSTRY IS ESSENTIAL FOR THIS ROLE**************** Description of the role:- > · To deliver the Capital Programme as allocated. > · To ensure programme outputs are met:- time, cost, quality & performance. > · To achieve the Department's KPI's and Objectives. > · To set the overall strategy for delivery of programme to ensure optimum benefit is achieved to meet SWW Business Plan. > · To obtain funding for programme(s), and project(s) as appropriate. > To identify external and/or specialist resources for projects. Areas of responsibility: > · Responsible for programme planning, prioritisation and management. > · Allocation of Project Manager(s) to specific programmes/clusters/projects. > · Setting, agreeing and briefing teams on programme targets and strategy. > · Assessing skills and competencies required to manage teams and resources effectively. > · Programme promotion and liaison with clients, stakeholders and public. > · Participate in setting and agreeing strategy. > · Responsible for influencing change across the Department. > · Leading agreed strategic initiatives. > Managing individual workloads, performance and development needs. Accountabilities: > · Allocation of workload across delivery teams. > · Deliver programmes of investment to time, cost, quality parameters. > · Promotion of projects and liaison with key Stakeholders. > Monitoring and achieving departmental and corporate KPI's.
