| Scope of the Role: ? The full range of Process Engineering services for our Framework clients such as South West Water. Specialist projects such as the ATEX Upgrade of the thermal sludge dryers at Dublin's Ringsend treatment works. Expert services in dispute resolution undertaken for many clients. Conceptual design and feasibility for overseas development work as in the Romanian Six Counties project. Detailed design services for contractor partners on design and construct projects. ? Currently undertaking wastewater feasibility studies, sludge treatment investigations and confidential expert services. Solid Waste treatment and energy from waste projects. The Role: ? As Senior Process Engineer you will be part of an internationally recognised team in Exeter. You will be expected to lead the process engineering input to projects and may be asked to take overall technical lead. You will be able to determine the activities required to satisfy the clients' brief and complete the scope of work assigned to the team. Typical project work: project management, bid preparation, feasibility and evaluation projects, data interpretation, drafting process flow and P&I diagrams, process modelling, organising site visits and surveys and producing and checking reports. You may be asked to take specific professional interest in a specialist technical area to compliment the abilities of the team. ? You will be responsible for the quality of your own work and may be asked to take responsibility for the output of colleagues in our team. This will involve the supervision and checking of the technical work of others, including the review of work done by other disciplines. You will be allocated a mentor and may become a mentor for others. You will be expected to represent Pell Frischmann at client meetings and to present your work to others. ? Development in the role is guaranteed to those who show commitment and ability. Progression in the company can be either on technical expertise, or through project and line management aptitude. ? Reporting to a Principal Engineer or Technical Director ? Project and Line Management responsibility - possible for the right candidate where an interest is expressed. Skills/Qualifications: ? Degree level qualification in chemical engineering, or similar discipline required. Knowledge in water, wastewater or waste treatment is essential. You should be able to demonstrate your personal contribution to projects of a scope and complexity similar to those you will be expected to undertake in this role. ? Confident use of Excel, Word, PowerPoint or equivalents is required. ? Excellent communication and writing skills are needed to excel in this role. Must be a comfortable and confident communicator with good inter-personal skills to promote themselves and the company within effective client relationships.
