| Scope of the Role: ? The full range of Process Engineering services for our Framework clients such as South West Water. Specialist projects such as the ATEX Upgrade of the thermal sludge dryers at Dublin's Ringsend treatment works. Expert services in dispute resolution undertaken for many clients. Conceptual design and feasibility for overseas development work as in the Romanian Six Counties project. Detailed design services for contractor partners on design and construct projects. ? Currently undertaking wastewater feasibility studies, sludge treatment investigations and confidential expert services. Solid Waste treatment and energy from waste projects. The Role: ? As Process Engineer you will be supporting the internationally recognised experts in the Process and M&E Team in Exeter. You will be involved in a wide variety of different work with opportunities to lead some projects. ? You will be responsible for the quality of your own work and may be asked to take responsibility for technicians and/or undergraduates working in our team. Typical project work: wastewater characterisation, data interpretation, drafting process flow and P&I diagrams, process modelling, undertaking site visits and drafting reports. You will be allocated a mentor from the team's senior members and may become a mentor for others. You will have the opportunity to represent Pell Frischmann at client meetings and to present your work to others. ? Development in the role is guaranteed to those who show commitment and ability. Progression in the company can be either on technical expertise, or through project and line management aptitude. ? Reporting to a Senior Process Engineer ? Line Management responsibility possible for the right candidate. Skills/Qualifications: ? Degree level qualification in chemical engineering, or similar discipline required. Additional experience or training in specific aspects of water, wastewater or waste treatment would be advantageous. ? An aptitude for creating and using spreadsheets and databases is required. ? Excellent communication and writing skills are needed to excel in this role. Must be a comfortable and confident communicator with good inter-personal skills to promote themselves and the company within effective client relationships. ? Keen to/working towards achieve/ing Chartership status would be advantageous.
