| My Clients are the world's largest manufacturer of valve products that move, control, and sample liquids, gases, powders, and other substances. They currently have a requirement for a Field Service Engineer. Role Summary -The Customer Services Engineer is required to be available to visit UK Customers as appropriate to carry out warranty work , commissioning and installation work, on - site repairs and maintenance. -Be able to manage and build Actuated Packages in our assembly area as required. -To be able to discuss Annual Service Contracts with customers with large installed company product base -And be able to carry out Site Surveys as required. Qualifications -Candidates will have a background in valves, actuation and controls. This will include Ball and Butterflyvalves along Pneumatic, Electric, and Hydraulic actuators , and control panel ancillary equipment such as solenoids, switches, and air filter regulator combinations. -Candidates will have a competency level in Microsoft Excel, Word and Lotus Notes would be preferable -Candidates will need appropriate Electrical Qualifications Responsibility and Accountability -To raise the company's customer service profile in the UK -To assist in increasing Day to Day business by providing a fast positive response to customer needs -To generate additional income from Service activities ie Installation & Commissioning , Site Repairs -To back charge manufacturing plants for Warranty work and service they are unable to provide -To work closely with Operations , Sales and Product Managers to maximise business opportunities. -Provide reports for all customer visits -Be prepared to work hours as required by the customer To apply for this position, candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK Matchtech Group Plc is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy. | ||
