| Position Quantity Surveyor, Senior Quantity Surveyor, Intermediate Quantity Surveyor, Project Quantity Surveyor Location Reading, Berkshire Salary Negotiable Daily or Hourly rates depending on the level of the relevant Quantity Surveyor experience of the applicant. Current rates vary from £300- £350 a day or an equivalent hourly rate. THIS VACANCY; This recognized main contractor requires a freelance Senior Quantity Surveyor to work on their MOD project in Reading. As Quantity Surveyor you will be overseeing the price variations of a £20m office development which is drawing to a close. Due to the sensitive nature of the MOD it will be highly advantageous if you have MOD clearance with experience on a similar project. As a quantity surveyor on this project you will need to be an accomplished surveyor with a minimum of 7 years experience and will have worked as a quantity surveyor for at least 3 main contractors. Education experience is not essential but would be advantageous. If you are a commercially aware surveyor with experience in a variety of sectors you will be ideal for this position. You will have previously worked as a project Quantity Surveyor on a similar value project or now be looking to progress onto large more prestigious work.
