| POSITION SUMMARY The application engineer is the technical Project Leader for the customer projects, responsible for solving / coordinating all necessary technical issues during the development of the product within BorgWarner and towards the customer. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES * Responsible for the technical advice and support towards our european customers * Planning of the technical subproject in coherence with the total project schedule * Thermodynamical and technical dimensioning of the turbocharger based on customer data * Responsible for all technical matters regarding the customer application of the exhaust-gas turbocharger * Determination and coordination of the design and validation plan Desirable skills: 1. Bachelor / Master Degree with main focus on combustion engines and fluid kinetic machines 2. Experience in engine technology or application 3. Experience in procedures and work flow cycles of automotive industry 4. Knowledge of the current quality specifications (ISO TS 16949, VDA 6.3) 5. Good knowledge of MS Office and SAP R/3 6. Language Skills in German, French and English. | ||
