| Our client requires an Electrical/Electronic Technician Engineer for High Power RF machines/equipment builds. The business is based in Hampshire, with established RF products and new development work. Working for a small but busy company there will be a diverse range of work which will require an adaptable and resilient person. Work will start with building and testing equipment, then after having gained experience, maintenance and servicing work, and this may require travel occasionally in the UK and maybe later in Europe and Asia. The successful candidate will be a self-starter able to learn and do a complete job. We anticipate the successful applicant will have a minimum of ONC/City and Guilds formal training but practical relevant electrical experience is key. The knowledge and core skills required are: - experience in electrical and electronic product, build, wiring, testing and maintenance on high power electrical/electronics equipment - Experience of water cooling and pneumatic pipework - Simple CAD skills to produce circuit and wiring diagrams - Keen and able to learn the basic theory and practice of Radio Frequency / High Frequency applications and also PLC programming - A team player attitude that will help deliver the products to our customers. Tasks Primary tasks will include: - Assembly and build and wiring of products - Part specification for procurement - CAD circuit diagram drawing Additional tasks will necessarily include - Occasional Customer site service - Technical part specification for procurement - Occasional marketing support Knowledge / Experience - High Power Electrical skills. - Experience building, wiring, and testing all types of equipment. - CAD electrical circuit drawing To apply for this position, candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK Matchtech Group Plc is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy. | ||
