| Position Quantity Surveyor Location North London Salary £45K + Car + Full Benefits Company Fawkes & Reece Contact Adel Elsayed Job RM Reference DEL VAC: 33456 Job Type Permanent Job Description Quantity Surveyor Our Client Our client is an established and respected name in partitioning, flooring and suspended ceiling sub-contractor operating in the interior fit-out sector. The company headquarters are in North London and the majority of their projects are within the M25 area. Generally their projects range form £1-5m and cover commercial, healthcare, education and some retail. Their aim is to deliver an unsurpassed service within their market and be able to offer the definitive partitioning, flooring and ceilings package. Our client already works alongside some of the premier names in commercial interior fit-out and some of the UK's largest main contractors and they have a secure workload until late 2009. Quantity Surveyor / Intermediate Quantity Surveyor, Senior Quantity Surveyor Our client is presently recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor to assist with a number of projects throughout the City of London with values of £500k - £1M. The regular duties of the Quantity Surveyor will be to manage the finances of the project and carry out the regular duties such as variations, sub-contract accounts, cost management and see the project through to the final accounts. Throughout the projects, the Quantity Surveyor will be expected to keep in regular contact with the clients and maintaining strong relationships with them will be key to the success of the projects. Quantity Surveyor / Intermediate Quantity Surveyor, Senior Quantity Surveyor The Right Individual For this role the right individual will be a Quantity Surveyor with some experience background in the refurb or interior fit-out sector and would ideally have a background in projects of at least £1m in value. A relevant recognised qualification in Quantity Surveying would be an advantage, although is not a must. The right Quantity Surveyor will possess an ability to work well within the existing team and effectively communicate with the client to ensure the smooth running of the project. Most importantly the successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a proven ability to see projects to completion of final accounts.
