| ||
| A Senior Highways Engineer is required to assist with the execution and management of studies undertaken by my client's Highway Design and Safety Group. Work will include the detailed design of highway and traffic engineering schemes, preparation and production of highway and traffic reports, plans and diagrams, the analysis and interrogation of accident data and to assist with identification of countermeasures, liaison and correspondence with client bodies and attendance at public and private meetings. You will have experience in the preparation, design and supervision of implementation of low cost highways and traffic remedial schemes, traffic calming schemes, safety audits, road safety plans with knowledge of relevant computer packages in particular, PDS, MS Word, Excel and Project, AutoCAD, SignPlot and AutoTrack. You will also need a good knowledge of current highway design standards, awareness of current national safety standards and government policies. | ||
