| Job: Service/Commissioning Engineer Location: Aberdeen + Overseas Discipline: Electrical Industry: Power Generation, Oil & Gas, Automation Technical: DCS, SCADA, PLC, Process Instrumentation Salary: £35k + Pension + Health Care Ref: KJ 9474 Field Service Engineer £35k Aberdeen KJ 9474 This specialist engineering business is the leading supplier of test and measurement, process control and data retrieval / information systems to some of the largest Oil & Gas and Power Generation organisations worldwide. Due to planned growth they currently require a field based service engineer to support their clients operations in Aberdeen, to calibrate and install process instrumentation as well as service, install and commission ESD and industrial control systems. The successful engineer will be familiar with PLC, SCADA and DCS applications and be able to fault find and modify relevant software programs. A 24hr service call out system is in operation and the successful engineer (following probationary period) will be expected to participate. It is essential that you have a flexible attitude towards the working environment and location as you will be expected at times to work offshore, in Ireland, the UK and overseas. In return my client is offering a salary of £35,000, company pension scheme, health care scheme and 25 days holiday + statutory bank holidays.
