| Production Engineering Manager £40000 - £50000 + pension + bonus + 28 days holiday Senior management role in charge of all aspects of the manufacturing department and implementing improvements throughout the shop floor. With strong man management skills and a belief in driving through improvements; you will make a key impact in the future success of the department. The Role: *Take part in setting and managing of quality standards for product and production processes. *Take part in long and short term planning of output. *Responsibility of controlling production profitability. *Controlling and improving delivery and quality performance to agreed targets. *Implementation and co-ordination of lean working practices. * Responsible for recruitment, training and management of production employees. *Responsible for planning, acquisition, installation, maintenance and efficient running of production equipment. *Problem solving. *Identify potential process improvement projects and take part in resulting project design and implementation. *Identify the manufacturing strategy required in line with the annual budget. The Candidate: * HND - Degree qualified in relevant technical discipline. * Significant man management skills. * Proven manufacturing experience from a high value, highly regulate industry. | ||
