| Are you experienced in assessing/teaching Engineering Principles? Would you like to work for one of the largest training providers in the UK? One of the UK's largest training providers who have a facility in Portsmouth that trains young adults in the basics of engineering, are currently looking for an Academic Instructor to join their team The purpose of your role will be to provide engineering education and training from entry level to level 4. The learners are typically aged 16 plus, therefore this role includes responsibility for providing advice and guidance throughout the programme. Your tasks will include: - To deliver engineering education training using diverse methods of teaching in classroom, laboratory and workshop environment. - To develop the curriculum to meet the needs of the learner, customer and awarding bodies. - To assess the learners technical competence and skills. - To complete all relevant administrative and reporting documentation to meet the requirements of the Academy, customer and awarding bodies. - To support learners in the development of their life skills and participate in extracurricular activities. The ideal candidate: - Experience in the delivery of nationally recognised engineering education and training to learners aged 16 plus - Minimum qualification at HND or equivalent in an engineering discipline - Registered assessor A1 or recognised equivalent To apply for this position, candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK Matchtech Group Plc is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy. | ||
