| Liaising with internal designers, project managers and external customers you will be responsible for concept generation, definition of boundary conditions, reviewing CAE analysis, results interpretation, report generation, presentation of the analysis results and recommendations to customers and general task management. Some supervision of junior and or overseas analysts (Prague) may be required Skills and experience The role will require core skills in Nastran and Hypermesh. Knowledge of the following software packages would also be advantageous: Patran MSC/Fatigue / Ncode Abaqus or MSC Marc Optistruct ADAMS or other multi-body-system packages A mainstream automotive or commercial vehicle background would be advantageous. Previous Chassis experience in some or all of the following areas + Vehicle Front end + Vehicle Under-body + Rear end Familiarity with global engineering standards and product developement process. Engineering degree in mechanical engineering or automotive related subject. | ||
