| Design, develop, project manage, validate for production and resolve issues throughout program in: + Manual Transmission + Clutch + Driveshafts POSITION SUMMARY Main contact with customers for program requirements + Responsible for program timing + Evaluation of target specification book and cost tracking + Central point contact for communication with other departments for matters concerning transmissions + Responsible for supplier coordination + Advance quality planning eg FMEA, DVP, P diagrams, 8D etc in support of APQP KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES Evaluation of specification book Risk analysis of the project Start of internal cost calculation and definition of official offer to customer Price negotiation with the customer Negotiation of general contract (delivery terms and conditions) 5 year Long Range Planning Control and adjustment of official project plan Project plan and cost plan tracking Desirable skills: EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE Bachelors Degree in an industrial or mechanical engineering required Minimum 3 years related work experience; experience in the automotive industry preferred Must have excellent problem solving skills Experience of Program Leadership in automotive industry Proficient with Microsoft Office products Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint KEY COMPETENCIES Action Oriented, Business Acumen, Customer Focus, Decision Making, Quality, Functional/Technical Skill, Informing, Interpersonal Savvy, Organizational Agility, Driving for Results.
