| CAD Design Engineer/ Draught person (Sheet Metal 3D) Bristol: £20000 to £25000 + Pension + 20 Days Holiday + Life Assurance + Training and Development Design position on offer for engineers with 2D or 3D CAD experience who are looking to develop their design skills in a concept and re-modification role. Our client specialises in the design, manufacture and installation of niche, sheet metal bulk storage equipment. Due to company expansion, they are now looking to recruit an additional CAD designer. The role will involve working closely with the existing Project and Stress Engineers within the company, to deliver a totally bespoke first class design service. This role will suit engineers who take pride in producing manufacturing drawings in a team based environment. The Role: * Working in a small team designing sheet metal based bulk storage equipment using Auto CAD (2D) and Inventor (3D) (training can be given on inventor if proficient with another 3D package) * Responsible for all drawing based documentation and support systems. * Communicate through to the manufacturing base using specific criteria such as lead times, quality, accuracy and detailed information. The Candidate * City and Guilds as a minimum (or equivalent) * Mechanical engineering design background * Experience in 2D modelling (Auto CAD preferred) and 3D design. * Knowledge of steel, sheet metal and fabrication will be beneficial. * Inventor experience is beneficial. | ||
