| Introduction This client is one of the UK�s leading highways companies. We manage, maintain and improve thousands of kilometres of motorways and trunk roads throughout the UK, and develop better local transport services. The positions are in the Technology Design and Implementation division of the Traffic Operations & Technology Business unit We lead the Intelligent Transportation Systems Community and employ over 270 professional staff in our offices at West Byfleet, Euston Coventry, Manchester, Stockport and Bristol. Traffic Operations and Technology is the project manager responsible for the delivery of the Highways Agency flagship Active Traffic Management (ATM) project on the M42 near Birmingham. The roles are to provide a proactive level of service in relation to CDM for our principal client the Highways Agency , local government and all internal clients. The Traffic Operations & Technology business unit provides hi tech solutions to the management of the road network , management of tunnels on the network and all of the appropriate lighting needs. You will be joining a rapidly expanding team and the range of current projects are considerable. CDM advise on cutting edge Safety Case work for our clients is a rapidly expanding area and an excellent understanding of CDM 2007 is a requirement. The successful applicants will be a member or working to membership of the APS , have design , Health and Safety experience and have the ability to work under their own initiative.
