| Our client is currently looking for a Project Manager with experience in the Petrochemical industry to work on an 18 month contract. We need a project manager with some plant installation (piping) for 18 months contract period based in Germany but there would also be some travelling around Europe The following tasks will await the successful candidate: Securing all control functions with respect to deadlines and costs Responsibility for cost structuring Establishing and implementing reporting Identification of risks Preparation of negotiations with the customer Initiating claim situations Support of the main project manager during meetings with the customer Ideally you will be in possession of the following skills: Good experience in controlling major projects in the field of plant installation (piping) Good experience in approval flow Good experience in environmental impact studies Business and contractual fluency in English (German, Danish, Swedish, Russian would be an advantage, but is not essential) Assertiveness/confident in management The position will be for the full 18 months and will not be on a rotational basis.
