Assistant Estimator / Estimator / Intermediate Estimator / Assistant Quantity Surveyor / Commercial Manager / Assistant Commercial Manager / Intermediate Quantity Surveyor The Role - Our client is currently seeking an Assistant Commercial Manager to assist with the pre-contract stages of various projects. Reporting to the Commercial Director the role covers both Estimating and Quantity Surveyor duties with a very slight bias towards the Estimating side of the job. The day to day responsibilities are to produce estimates from first principles, preparation of CVR reports, variations and evaluating tenders. For this role there is the potential to become a Senior Commercial Manager within just two years and beyond this there are other avenues in which the right candidate can progress their career with our client. Assistant Estimator / Estimator / Intermediate Estimator / Assistant Quantity Surveyor / Commercial Manager / Assistant Commercial Manager / Intermediate Quantity Surveyor The Right Individual The right individual will already have experience in an Assistant Estimator or Assistant Quantity Surveyor position, although not necessarily from an interior fit-out background. Candidates should at least have a HNC and would ideally be part way through a degree in Quantity Surveying or relevant construction related degree with day release available if required. The right Assistant Commercial manager will be committed to building a lasting career in the commercial side of the construction industry.
