| CAD Design Engineer / Graduate Design Engineer (Mechanical Consultancy) Leeds: £18000 to £21000 + Pension + 20 Days Holiday + Life Assurance + Training and Development Design position on offer for mechanical engineering or structural graduates who are looking for structured training and development and progression. This post will see the suitable applicant develop design skills in a concept and re-modification role. Our client is a specialist designer of and consultancy service provider for bespoke mechanical load bearing equipment. Due to company expansion, they are now looking to recruit an additional CAD designer. The role will involve working closely with the existing Project and Stress Engineers within the company, to deliver a totally bespoke first class design service. This role will suit engineers who take pride in producing manufacturing drawings in a team based environment. The Role: * Working in a small team designing bespoke load bearing equipment using Auto CAD (2D) and Inventor (3D) (training can be given on inventor if proficient with another 3D package) * Responsible for all drawing based documentation and support systems. * Communicate through to the manufacturing base using specific criteria such as lead times, quality, accuracy and detailed information. The Candidate * Mechanical / Structural / Civil engineering graduate or equivalent. * Experience in 2D modelling (any package) and 3D design (any package) is preferred but not essential. * Can also be an experienced design engineer who is looking for training and development with a growing company. | ||
