| My client - a major Automotive company is looking for Homologation Engineers to work in the Bedforshire area; Main Tasks & Responsibilities Develop Type Approval and homologation plans for Company programmes. Negotiate 'worst case' scenarios with EU authorities. Facilitate T/A testing in accordance with EU legislation and respect for Company Quality Cost Delivery targets. To prepare necessary T/A documentation Give legal interpretation support to design and test engineers Additional Tasks and responsibilities Indirect supervision of Admin Assistant and Manufacturing Staff/Technical Officer staff on specific occasions Background & Experience Experience in automotive industry, preferably with some Type Approval test or homologation experience. Strong interpersonal skills for technical discussions with design, test, off site offsite labs and EU authority engineers. Clear understanding of health and safety responsibilities Minimum Education Required Technical Degree / Certification Long Term Contract Rate £26p/h | ||
