| Job Description
As a key member of Engineering Product Development teams, you will be assigned to a new aircraft modification programme for the Joint Definition and Detail Design phases. You will be a technical lead responsible for developing structures and systems installation design concepts. Your mandate will consist primarily in providing technical leadership via the creation of aircraft design concepts and layouts, performing trade studies, defining and managing major structural interfaces, coaching and mentoring junior designers, and liaising with structural suppliers, operations and customer support.
Qualifications & Experience
Degree preferred but will accept HND or HNC with experience which is a minimum of 5 - 10 years of airframe design experience and familiar with CATIA. The incumbent must also have a proven track record of successful contribution within a product development environment. You must be able to demonstrate strong problem-solving skills as well as the ability to find and implement innovative design concepts. You must be capable of exercising sound engineering judgment while considering cost and schedule implications of various aircraft concepts. You must have strong technical leadership skills and be results-oriented toward assignments. | ||
