| An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Project Manager to deliver a Chassis Programme within a Motorsport Company in Surrey. Purpose of the Role: To manage the chassis manufacturing delivery programme across the company from technical definition to product delivery. Role Dimensions: *Agree the key programme control points from Engineering Schemes through into production and final build. *Create consolidated, scheduled plans that align key milestones and deliverables with the overarching race car programme. *Manage the execution and delivery of these plans to a successful conclusion. *Liaise with peers across Engineering, Operations & Assembly functions within the company to ensure effective outcomes. *Represent the chassis programme delivery in all planning & tracking meetings. Principal Accountabilities: This role will coordinate & track activities and outcomes of the chassis programme across the company to ensure Time, Cost and Quality key risks (technical, supply and build) are systematically exercised throughout the delivery of the programme. Specific tasks include: *Produce, seek approval of & own the chassis manufacturing delivery plan. *Guide and co-ordinate the Project Planning and Buying resources. *Assist Design Planning with prioritisation of Engineering workload. *Review & progress all design releases. *Validate the manufacturing process capability internally & externally within the supply base. *Highlight to the Operations Planning Manager when and where additional effort or resource is required to successfully achieve the plan. *Review and expediting of parts supply throughout the manufacturing lifecycle, both internally and externally. Knowledge, Skills and Experience: Extensive engineering project management experience, with a background of hands on 'launch' control and project lifecycle planning. Manufacturing and / or Engineering project delivery credentials from within an aerospace, automotive or equivalent environment are essential for this role.
